IDEAL® Cable Cutters are crafted from custom alloyed, premium quality tool steel, ensuring excellent cutting performance and durability for professional tradespeople. The precision-ground, hardened cutting edges allow for accurate and quick cutting of 2/0 copper and 4/0 aluminum wire without cable distortion. The drop-forged, high-carbon steel construction, along with hardened and tempered body and cutting edges, provides optimal performance. The high leverage pivot design offers great cutting and gripping power, complemented by heavy-duty Smart-Grip™ comfort handles for comfort. Designed specifically for 2/0 copper and 4/0 aluminum, these cutters are not intended for use on ACSR.
