This replacement blade is for use with the IDEAL Electrical™ FT-45® RJ45 Crimp Tool. The blade is custom-designed to make quick, precise cuts to CAT5e/CAT6/CAT6a conductors, flush with the modular plug face to prevent accidental contact between adjacent wires or the mating jack. Each replacement blade has a long-lasting lifespan of more than 2,000 cuts before a replacement is necessary. It is installed on the tool quickly using a Philips head screwdriver.
