IDEAL® CAT IV fused test leads offer essential safety protection against potentially lethal voltages and short circuit current. They feature a unique finger-guard to prevent accidental high voltage contact and all-weather, double-skin silicone insulation with a bi-colored Wear-Guard Damage Control Indicator, which reveals a white layer beneath the red or black if the cable is damaged. The EZ-Off caps over the probe tips, along with molded, tug-resistant right-angle plugs with strain reliefs, ensure durability and compatibility with standard meters. The set includes a red/black assembly with fused probes and right-angle plugs (NRTL approved), two 1000V ceramic fuses, and screw-on crocodile clips and probe tips. Specifications: 1.1 m length cable, UL / CSA IEC 61010 CAT IV -1000V Approved, silicone insulation rated to 10kV DC, a fuse rating of 500mA/1000V/50kA, and a temperature rating of -10° C to +150° C.
