This handy tool also verifies the operation of GFCI protective devices, giving you peace of mind with every use.
- Indicates a correct wiring condition or detects these common faults: open ground, reverse polarity, open hot, open neutral, hot and ground reversed, hot on neutral with hot open
- Trip GFCI’s in circuit by pressing the black button
- GFCI trip test indicator light – test light will turn on, indicating the activation of the GFCI test and the GFCIs will trip if they are functioning properly (NOTE: Receptacle MUST be properly grounded for the GFCI test to work properly)
