Detailed information
Insulation can fail due to various factors such as mechanical damage, vibration, extreme temperatures, dirt, oil, corrosive vapours, and moisture. The IDEAL® Digital Insulation Meter 61-797 is an essential tool for professionals to ensure insulation is functioning safely and effectively. During installation or routine maintenance, this meter detects capacitive, absorption, and leakage currents, helping prevent potential injuries or equipment failures. Rated CAT IV 600V for safety, it offers test voltages ranging from 50V to 1000V, perfect for low voltage cable testing. It automatically calculates PI and DAR, senses AC/DC voltage up to 600V, and includes a low pass filter to eliminate high-frequency noise. The remote test button allows for convenient two-handed operation. Additional features include earth-bond resistance, test inhibition if voltage exceeds 30V, digital reading with analogue arc, pass/fail comparison mode, remote test probe, memory storage and recall, and auto discharge. It also has auto power off function, low battery indication, a protective rubber boot, bright, backlit display, auto sensor, and alligator clips that twist onto test leads, all packed in a handy carrying case.

I would absolutely recommend these lever connectors and will surely be using them in the future! Those connectors were super easy to work with, didn’t seem flimsy like other brands, and were super easy to install as well as remove
