Detailed information
IDEAL® SLK® Disconnect Fuse Kits are water-resistant breakaway safety devices that de-energize roadway lights, streetlights, parking lot lights, and other freestanding electrical fixtures in the event of a knockdown, or when the fixtures need maintenance. This helps protect first responders, bystanders, and service personnel from potentially life-threatening electrical shock hazards. The SLK® is listed to UL’s ECIS category for special purpose connectors. This category contains a set of rigorous tests from a host of UL standards. In addition, the bright orange colour of the SLK® makes it easy to locate in dark junction boxes, hand holes, or in a nighttime knockdown situation when the connector is often buried amongst dirt, mud, and debris.

Popular Mechanics

I would absolutely recommend these lever connectors and will surely be using them in the future! Those connectors were super easy to work with, didn’t seem flimsy like other brands, and were super easy to install as well as remove
