IDEAL® Thermo-Shrink® Al/Cu Splice Kits offer a reliable and straightforward method for connecting both copper and/or aluminum 600V cables ranging from 8 to 4 AWG. Featuring heavy-wall, adhesive-lined heat shrink tubing, and set screw connector that engages each wire firmly, these kits provide a moisture-proof seal that secures and protects in-line splices. Designed for easy installation, they are rated for direct burial applications and meet the requirements of the 2005 NEC Code 110-14(B). Their heat-activated seal ensures maximum protection against moisture ingress, and excellent abrasion resistance. This kit includes UV resistant, heavy wall tubing and a barrel connector.
