Detailed information
Easily pinpoint wiring and continuity errors in CAT3/CAT5e/CAT6/ CAT6a twisted pair cabling with the LinkMaster® Wiremapper from IDEAL Electrical™. This compact tester ensures proper termination at both ends by checking your 8-conductor RJ45 cables for common faults like opens, shorts, miswires, reversals, and split pairs. Bright, color-coded LED lights make it easy to spot pass/fail results for each wire pair. LinkMaster also tests shield continuity on shielded connectors and cables, and had a debug feature that cycles through each pair showing the pass/fail status one at a time.. Designed with a simple, single-button operation, the LinkMaster Wiremapper makes verifying your twisted pair cabling quick and hassle-free.
- VERIFY WIRING: Coloured LED lights show Pass/Fail status for each pair – with red LEDs clearly indicating errors such as shorts, opens, miswires, and split pairs
- BUILT FOR RJ45: Quickly pinpoint continuity and wiring errors in 8-conductor RJ45 twisted pair cables, including CAT3, CAT5e, CAT6, and CAT6a
- SHIELD CONTINUITY: Test shielded connectors and cable continuity using the debug feature, which cycles through each pair to show individual pass/fail results
- USER-FRIENDLY OPERATION: Compact design with simple single-button control for quick, hassle-free testing

Popular Mechanics

I would absolutely recommend these lever connectors and will surely be using them in the future! Those connectors were super easy to work with, didn’t seem flimsy like other brands, and were super easy to install as well as remove
