Detailed information

The IDEAL® Tightsight™ Split Jaw Meter (model 61-415) is a versatile and robust tool designed for professionals. It boasts a CAT IV 600V and CAT III 1000V rating, ensuring safety and reliability in demanding environments. This auto-ranging true root mean square (TRMS) digital fork meter has an impressive .75 inch (19mm) jaw opening to easily work around large gauge cable. It can measure up to 200 Amps AC or DC between its forks and up to 1000V AC and DC using the included test leads. It also measures continuity, resistance, capacitance, and diodes, and features a non-contact voltage sensor in the right fork that detects voltage between 40V and 600V. One of its standout features is the patented TightSight® display, strategically located at the bottom of the unit. This innovative display enhances safety and productivity by providing a secondary reading at the end of the meter, so you don’t have to bend or twist conductors or place your head near the panel to see the main display. Both displays are backlit, and there’s a built-in flashlight for working in low-light conditions. An illuminated red LED and audible tones alert you to voltage above 30 volts, when continuity is detected, and when the NCV senses voltage within its range. For added convenience, the clamp head includes a dual-position built-in probe tip holder, allowing you to take measurements with one hand, and conveniently store the probes when not in use. The meter can be suspended from a nail, screw, or magnetic surface using the compatible hanging strap mount (Universal Magnetic Hanging Strap model UMHS-757 sold separately). Its industrial-grade over-molding ensures a secure grip and offers 2 m drop protection. Additional features include HOLD, MIN/MAX, Relative, Range, and selectable Auto Power Off functions. The meter comes with three 1.5V AAA batteries and an easy-open storage pouch with a belt loop for storing the meter, probes, and thermocouple. With an IDEAL® TightSight™ Fork Meter, you’re equipped with a versatile, reliable tool that makes electrical measurements easier and safer.

The only fish tape on the market with a digital screen reader 🔥

I would absolutely recommend these lever connectors and will surely be using them in the future! Those connectors were super easy to work with, didn’t seem flimsy like other brands, and were super easy to install as well as remove
