The IDEAL® Insulated Skinning Knife is a trusted choice for professionals, boasting 1,000V certification for maximum safety. Designed with performance and comfort in mind, it features permanently bonded insulation which extends across the back of the curved blade for added protection. The non-slip, textured handle provides an ergonomic, comfortable grip that includes a finger guard to help reduce the risk of accidental contact with exposed metal parts. With an ultra-sharp, hardened blade that easily cuts through the toughest insulation, the grip has an integrated V-notch designed to rest on the cable for added control while slitting. Built to withstand the toughest job site conditions, this impact-resistant tool meets ASTM F1505-01 and IEC 60 900 standards, complies with OSHA 1910.335 regulations and NFPA 70E standards, and is VDE certified.
