Detailed information

The IDEAL® Round Cable Slitting & Ringing Tool is designed to remove the outer jacket of round single or multiple conductor cables, accommodating diameters from 0.250” to 1.75”. Primarily used for stripping the end jackets of larger diameter copper and multi-conductor cables, this tool features an adjustable blade depth setting to ensure the jacket is cut without damaging the inner conductors. Simply spin the silver cap to adjust the blade height and cutting depth. Additionally, the blade can rotate 90°, allowing the tool to slit the jacket lengthwise for both end and midspan strips. To rotate the blade, press and hold the lever knob fully to the right. For added convenience, a spare blade is stored in the base of the handle, accessible by moving the pin dowel to reveal the spare blade access hole.

I would absolutely recommend these lever connectors and will surely be using them in the future! Those connectors were super easy to work with, didn’t seem flimsy like other brands, and were super easy to install as well as remove
