IDEAL Electrical™ Wire Armour® Rubber Mastic Tape is a versatile, high-performance solution for insulating and sealing electrical connections. Built with an ethylene propylene rubber (EPR) backing and bonded to a tacky, temperature-stable, electrical-grade mastic, this tape provides outstanding adhesion, flexibility, and durability in demanding environments.
Designed for insulating and moisture sealing splices and terminations up to 2000 volts on solid dielectric cables, it can be wrapped, stretched, or molded around irregular shapes with ease. Its 65 mil thickness delivers reliable insulation build-up, while its self-bonding design ensures a void-free, secure application every time.
This mastic tape is ideal for bus bar insulation, water sealing, corrosion protection, and surface shielding. Suitable for both direct burial and overhead applications, it withstands harsh conditions thanks to excellent UV resistance and strong resistance to moisture, corrosion, and chemicals.
