IDEAL® Wire Armour™ Rubber Mastic Tape is a versatile, self-bonding mastic tape featuring an ethylene propylene rubber (EPR) backing bonded to a tacky, temperature-stable, electrical-grade mastic. It is designed for insulating and moisture-sealing splices and terminations up to 2,000V on solid dielectric cables. This tape can be wrapped, stretched, or molded around irregular shapes, making it ideal for insulation build-up, water sealing, and surface protection. Additionally, it is suitable for bus bar insulation and corrosion protection. Suitable for both direct burial and overhead applications, it boasts excellent electrical properties, superior adhesion, UV resistance, and resistance to moisture, corrosion, and chemicals.
